Voice Type is distributed through the Mac App Store. Apple’s sandboxing applies, and you can see unfiltered reviews - good and bad - right on our listing.

During dictation, your audio stays on your Mac. Network calls are limited to receipt checks and optional “bring‑your‑own‑key” rewrites if you enable them.
